Independent Provider Terms & Conditions

Spinpress Laundry LLC · 249 Central Park Ave, Ste 300, Virginia Beach, VA 23462
Effective date: November 1, 2026

These Independent Provider Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the relationship between Spinpress Laundry LLC (“Company,” “we,” or “us”) and the independent laundry and garment care providers (“Provider,” “you”) utilizing the Spinpress platform to offer services to end-users (“Customers”) in the Virginia Beach area.

1. Nature of the Relationship

1.1 Independent Contractor Status

You are an independent contractor operating your own distinct business. Nothing in this Agreement creates an employer-employee, partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship. You retain absolute discretion in determining when, where, and how often you make yourself available for assignments.

1.2 Non-Exclusivity

You are free to provide similar services through other platforms, directly to your own clients, or through any other means, provided it does not directly interfere with active commitments made through the Spinpress platform.

2. Scope of Services

2.1 Service Standards

Providers agree to execute assigned garment care requests — including wash-and-fold and garment pressing — with a high standard of professional care.

2.2 Turnaround Time

All assigned standard service requests must be completed and returned to the Customer within the 24- to 48-hour turnaround window specified at the time of the order, unless a different timeline is mutually agreed upon with the Customer. Same-day rush requests (marked RUSH at assignment) are picked up 9–11 AM and delivered 6–8 PM the same day; the windows shown on the job are binding.

2.3 Equipment and Supplies

You are solely responsible for providing, maintaining, and funding all equipment, vehicles, cleaning supplies, and utilities necessary to perform the services.

3. Customer Payments and Holds

3.1 Payment Processing

All Customer payments are processed via our third-party payment processor, Stripe.

3.2 Holds

The Company places an authorization hold on the Customer's card for the estimated order total plus a buffer (currently 15%), typically the day before pickup and at booking for same-day orders. In the event of damaged items, missing garments, or late delivery, the Company may issue Customer refunds or resolve disputes; Provider responsibility for such claims is addressed in Section 4.2.

4. Insurance and Liability

4.1 Required Coverage

As an independent business, you are expected to maintain adequate insurance coverage for your operations. This includes, but is not limited to, active auto insurance for any vehicle used during pickups and deliveries (meeting Commonwealth of Virginia minimums) and, if applicable, Bailee's transit coverage or commercial liability insurance to protect against damaged or lost garments.

4.2 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Spinpress Laundry LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising directly from your execution of services, vehicular accidents, or interactions with Customers.

5. Termination and Deactivation

5.1 Mutual Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time, with or without cause, by providing written notice.

5.2 Account Deactivation

The Company utilizes a soft-delete account deactivation process. Upon termination, your profile is deactivated and sign-in is disabled; order history and operational records are retained as described in the Provider Privacy Policy.

6. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, specifically applying to operations within the City of Virginia Beach, without regard to conflict of law principles.
